Engr. Ibiam Oguejiofo holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, a first degree in Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and a Graduate Certificate of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria.

He is a registered member of many professional organizations including the following:

Engr. Ibiam Oguejiofo has worked continuously in the Nigerian Public and Private Sector for over 27 years in the field of Procurement, Supply Chain Management and Engineering Services as a Procurement Specialist and Professional Engineer.

He was involved in the local and international Procurement, Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, Auditing, Procurement Problem Analysis and Supervision of World Bank Assisted Projects of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture for 10 years (1982-1992) before he joined the private sector as an independent Procurement Consultant in 1993.

As a private sector consultant, he has handled many consultancy projects in Procurement in the areas of Procurement Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, Auditing, and Problem Analysis, etc. He was the lead Procurement Consultant for Logistics for the 1999 Junior World Cup (Nigeria ’99) for the Federal Ministry of Information and Federal Ministry of Communication respectively, for Broadcasting and Communications equipment. He also served as the lead consultant for the same purpose in 2003 for the All African Games (COJA) in collaboration with a private company.

Engr. Ibiam Oguejiofo is one of the coordinators for Procurement Practice and Development for the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria. He has extensive experience in Preparation and Review of Procurement Policies, Regulations and Laws, Preparation of Procurement Manual, Preparation of Procurement Bid Documents, Supervision of Bid Opening, Bid Evaluation and Pre-Qualification, Legal Implications of Procurement, Contract Negotiation, Import and Export Documentation, Import Clearing and Export Forwarding, Procurement Training and Capacity Building and General Supervision and Management of Procurement Contracts.

He has travelled extensively within and outside Nigeria and is associated with many individual Procurement Professionals, Sector Specialists and Corporate Professional Procurement organizations within and outside Nigeria, from where he can call for additional specialist assistance when required.
